dc.description Newark Beth Israel Hospital's Board of Directors' memorial resolution expressing appreciation for Felix Fuld, who died on January 20, 1929. Fuld was Louis Bamberger's business partner and the husband of Louis' sister, Caroline Bamberger Frank Fuld. Louis Bamberger and Felix Fuld worked together closely, so the loss of Fuld played a significant role in Bamberger's decision to sell the retail business. This hand-calligraphed, multi-page, illuminated document reflecting on Fuld's character and role as benefactor to the Hospital closes with a page of signatures by the thrity-three members of the Board of Directors.
