Louis Bamberger 50th Anniversary Medal

Round gold medal with an image of the flagship L. Bamberger & Company department store building located in Newark, New Jersey, embossed on the obverse with the years 1892 and 1942. Text on the reverse reads in part: "on the fiftieth anniversary of the founding of one of America's great stores." The edge of the medal indicates both the maker, Medallic Art Co. NY, and 14K. In original black leather case with stand, blue satin and velvet inside.
