Description
Silver cylinder (a) presentation piece given to Albert Einstein that's decorated with birds, flowers and elephants, and with small finials at each end. The cylinder also bears a cartouche that's engraved: "Address presented to Professor Albert Einstein. In recognition of his visit to Singapore by the Singapore Zionist Society. 1 November 1922." The cylinder contains a silk document (b) with blue fringe; the print is on cream colored silk, and is a welcoming address in English to Einstein.
