Two of the speakers for the 2003 lecture series sponsored by AMIAS

AMIAS (Association of Members of the Institute for Advanced Study) sponsored four public lectures on April 4 & 5, 2003, that were presented at the Institute. Arnold Levine (l.), visiting professor and Member of the School of Natural Sciences, and School of Historical Studies Faculty member Heinrich von Staden are two of the presenters, and are seen here standing on the green at the center of the academic buildings on the Institute campus. Levine was later appointed to the Faculty and established what was named in 2005 The Simons Center for Systems Biology.
