Description
Arthur Sweetser was a member of the League of Nations Secretariat from 1919 to 1941, after which he became the first head of the United Nations Information Office in Washington, D.C. The League of Nation's Economic and Financial Section was based at the Institute from 1940 to 1945. The Institute for Advanced Study's Director Frank Aydelotte was deeply involved with the group.
