Description
Floor plans of the first and second floors of Fuld Hall, A Building, and B Building that are undated, but that appear (based on the names of those assigned to the offices) to be from the early years of J. Robert Oppenheimer's tenure as Director of the Institute. The office locations of those on the Faculty at the time, including John von Neumann, Homer Thompson, and Robert B. Warren are among those noted. This floor plan also shows Albert Einstein's first office in Fuld Hall, which was on the second floor. He later moved to the first floor. (Note that the A Building and B Building structures are only two stories high.)
