Description
Correspondence concerning German mathematician Emmy Noether, including inquiries about her received by the Institute long after her death. Noether gave a series of lectures at the Institute from 1933 to 1935 upon informal invitation from Faculty in the Institute's School of Mathematics. Her primary home institution in the United States was Bryn Mawr College.
