dc.description Rectangular bronze medal with the profile of John Cotton Dana in relief on the obverse facing to the viewer's right. The reverse features embossed text ("This museum is the thought and work of John Cotton Dana") above an image of the Newark Museum building as well as the Roman numerals "MCMXXV" (1925) on the bottom. Artist or foundary mark ("JF") at the top of the reverse.
