dc.description The 37Cl (chlorine-37) tank under construction at the Homestake Gold Mine in lead, South Dakota. Though not identified on the print, the figure in the foreground is almost certainly Ray Davis, who was a chemist with Brookhaven National Laboratory, which supported Davis's full-scale solar neutrino experiments at Homestake. There are three additional images in the collection that were taken at Homestake.
