Description
Though Albert Einstein died in 1955, this folder of chronological correspondence and other documentation represents the wide variety of inquiries that continued to come to the Institute's Office of the Director on Einstein-related matters. Helen Dukas and Margot Einstein both feature in this file. There are also copies of original documents that date earlier than 1968. Some folders in the Director's Office Faculty files series include a processing note with the heading "Items Removed." These removed items are now located in the offprint collection of the Institute's Historical Studies-Social Science Library.
