Albert Einstein Faculty file: Einstein Prize Award

This portion of the Faculty file contains correspondence and other documentation relating to the Einstein Prize Award established on the occasion of Einstein's 70th birthday. Lewis L. Strauss was the award's benefactor by means of his Lewis and Rosa Strauss Memorial Fund honoring the memory of his parents. Other materials in this file include documents related to 1967 Prize Award recipient Marshall Rosenbluth. Note that the award has been known variously as Einstein Award, Albert Einstein Award, and Albert Einstein Memorial Award. Some folders in the Director's Office Faculty files series include a processing note with the heading "Items Removed." These removed items are now located in the offprint collection of the Institute's Historical Studies-Social Science Library.
