Description
This portion of the Faculty file contains chronological correspondence and other documentation relating to Albert Einstein on various topics such as his retirement account and work related to WWII military research. Also, there are Einstein-related matters addressed to the Institute's Director, which, in this folder includes both founding Director Abraham Flexner and his successor, Frank Aydelotte. Some folders in the Director's Office Faculty files series include a processing note with the heading "Items Removed." These removed items are now located in the offprint collection of the Institute's Historical Studies-Social Science Library.
