Description
This is a portion of the Faculty file of Albert Einstein containing correspondence and other documentation relating to Harvard University's Julian Schwinger, who was one of two Einstein Prize Award recipients in 1951 -- the Award's inaugural year. That year's other awardee was Kurt Gödel. Some folders in the Director's Office Faculty files series include a processing note with the heading "Items Removed." These removed items are now located in the offprint collection of the Institute's Historical Studies-Social Science Library.
