Published in the album of the Societe des aquafortistes printed by Cadart et Chevalier around 1867-1868; black and white etching of a man standing in the center of a landscape looking out at the picture frame; he has a guitar on his back and wears a headband; a woman is seated to his proper left holding a baby and behind her is a man drinking out of a jug; on reverse is a hand written lable "Manet (Edouard) Les Gitanos Eau forte originale epreuve sur chine applique".
