Fuld Hall cornerstone ceremony

Attending the ceremony held to lay the Fuld Hall cornerstone are (from l. to right): Alanson B. Houghton (IAS Trustee), C. Lavinia Bamberger (sister of IAS founders and benefactors, Louis Bamberger and Caroline (Carrie) Bamberger Frank Fuld ), Albert Einstein, Anne Crawford Flexner (wife of Abraham Flexner), Abraham Flexner (IAS Director), John R. Hardin (IAS Trustee), Herbert Maass (IAS Trustee), Harold W. Dodds (President, Princeton University). Fuld Hall was the first building constructed on the Institute for Advanced Study campus.
