dc.description Robert A. Millikan sits at Albert Einstein's immediate left with other unidentified individuals attending an unidentified event. A photograph in The Caltech (California Institute of Technology) Archives collection suggests that the event was the February 26, 1931, dedication of the Pasadena Junior College astronomy building. This is supported by the stamp on the back of the print identifying the "Visual Education Department, Pasadena City Schools," as the party responsible for the image.
