Description
In his home at 112 Mercer Street, Princeton, New Jersey, Einstein receiving antibiotics on behalf of Albert Schweitzer from Robert Mudd and Thomas Johnson, students from The Hun School of Princeton. The photograph does not clarify which is Mudd and which is Johnson. Newspaper accounts of the presentation explain that the gift was given in memory of a Hun School teacher, Dr. Erna Fankhauser, who had known both Einstein and Schweitzer.
