There is text on the back of all three copies in the collection stating that the photographer claimed copyright. The text reads: "Reproduktion dieses Bildes nur mit dem Vermerk: phot. Ernst Schneider, Berlin. Statthaft. Honorar und Belegexemplare ausschliesslich an die Fa. Ernst Schneider, Berlin NW. 7, Unter den Linden 62/63. Unerlaubtes Reproduzieren wird gerlichtlich verfolgt." This portrait of Albert Einstein is undated, but the location provided under the photographer's signature in the lower right corner is Berlin, Germany, so the photograph was very likely taken there. The collection includes three copies of this image, but none appear to be original prints, but some other reproduction process. All three are adhered to heavyweight pale green paper.
