Description
Featuring Asian-inspired motifs, an ivory-colored hinged trinket box and figurine molded or carved from an undetermined substance. The figurine was found in the box, but they may not be original to one another. The box has an elaborate dragon decoration on all four sides and the top. Other design aspects of the box include four ball feet, a red cloth lining, and a keyhole on the front. The figurine is of a man. In his right hand is a mallet with a rope attached from the bottom that extends down and over to the left hand, which holds the rope. His face has black paint on the eyes and facial hair; the figure is wearing a decorated garment, boots, and a hat.
