Description
Associated Merchandising Corporation and Retail Research Association memorial resolution expressing appreciation for Felix Fuld, who died on January 20, 1929. Fuld was Louis Bamberger's business partner and the husband of Louis' sister, Caroline Bamberger Frank Fuld. Louis Bamberger and Felix Fuld worked together closely, so the loss of Fuld played a significant role in Bamberger's decision to sell the retail business. This hand-calligraphed, multi-page, illuminated document reflecting on Fuld's character and providing specific details about his affiliation with this Corporation and Association closes with two and one-half pages of signatures by significant individuals in the history of retail in the United States including Abraham Lincoln Filene and Simon F. Rothschild as well as Edgar Bamberger, brother of Louis and Caroline (Carrie).
