Description
Ray Davis at the site of the solar neutrino experiments using 37Cl (chlorine-37) tanks, which was located at the Homestake Gold Mines in Lead, South Dakota. Raymond Davis, Jr., a close collaborator of John Bahcall, was a chemist with Brookhaven National Laboratory, which supported Davis's full-scale undertaking at Homestake. There are three additional images in the collection that were taken at Homestake.
