Description
Chamber of Commerce of the City of Newark, New Jersey, memorial resolution expressing appreciation for Felix Fuld, who died on January 20, 1929. Fuld was Louis Bamberger's business partner and the husband of Louis' sister, Caroline Bamberger Frank Fuld. Louis Bamberger and Felix Fuld worked together closely, so the loss of Fuld played a significant role in Bamberger's decision to sell the retail business. This hand-calligraphed, multi-page, illuminated document reflecting on Fuld's character and providing specific details about his affiliation with the Chamber closes with a page signed by the Chamber's executive secretary and is affixed with an embossed gold foil seal.
