Description
Atle Selberg, who was born in Langesund, Norway, on June 14, 1917, was the youngest of nine children. Based on other images in the collection, it appears that, in this photo, Atle Selberg is standing next to one of his brothers. The imprint of the photographer is in the lower right corner, but cannot be read, except for the location (Bergen). The print was in a heavyweight paperboard presentation portfolio, and a handwritten note on the exterior appears to reiterate photographer information, but is not entirely legible.
