None of the prints in this series of nine have handwritten information on the versos, but all are stamped: "Globe Photo Service, Greenville, S.C. AUG 10 1942." Albert Einstein's son, Hans Albert, worked at the U.S. Agricultural Experiment Station in Clemson, South Carolina, from 1938-1943, and it seems likely that this set of images was taken on the occasion of a visit by Albert to Hans Albert.SepiaPermission to use this image must be requested from the Institute's Archives.
