The print is adhered inside a paperboard portfolio frame, and is signed in pencil by the photographer under the image. The date is recorded as "1931" on the inside of the portfolio, but then noted as "Dec. 1930" on the cover. The exterior (back panel) of the portfolio is marked, in ink: "Martin Vos, 2647 Broadway, New York." Also, in the collection, see EB 190 and EB 229, which are by the same photographer and would appear to have been taken on the same occasion, a portrait session with Einstein and Rabindranath Tagore.Amber tintThis item is protected by copyright and/or related rights.
