dc.description The article, "Remembering Atle Selberg, 1917-2007" ("Notices of the AMS", v. 56, no. 6, June/July 2009), says of this image: "From a 1949 rotogravure section of a Norwegian newspaper, in an article on his elementary proof of the prime number theorem." This print is glued to a discolored piece of heavyweight paper. Image FAC SEL 003 is the likely original from which FAC SEL 004 was retouched.
